This book was OK. The way that the author had set out the story was a little strange. For instance, the main character’s name was not said throughout the whole story. It was very sad and I would not recommend it to any non advanced readers below 10. It was not one of John Marsden’s best books. The book was very vague and kept drifting unexpectedly from the present to the past, so even when you tried to piece the bits together, it didn’t quite fit.

This book was alright but it wasn’t the best. I wouldn’t recommend it for too many people unless they like books that don’t make much sense at all.
